For anyone who stumbles across this "video", I wanted to explain exactly what you're looking at. This was not shot with a video camera or even a camera that has video capabilities! This was about 1600 photos taken with the Nikon D3 DSLR. This camera takes full resolution (12 megapixel) still photos at 9 frames per second. These photos were exported as a video file using Quicktime Pro's Image Sequence capability at 10 frames per second to make it move through a little faster than realtime. This video file was then imported into a video editing application for adding the text and background music. This kind of technique is called stop-motion or time-lapse animation, and is usually used for things like claymation movies (like "Year Without a Santa Clause" or "A Nightmare Before Christmas") or for nature documentaries such as Planet Earth where they take photos of a plant each day for months at a time. This kind of photography isn't often used for taking pictures of people, but I think it's pretty cool!
