DC Wedding Photographer - Tami + Omar

Wow, where to begin? This was easily one of my favorite weddings: amazing couple, so friendly and fun to be with, great locations, tons of details that made the day truly unique. Tami and Omar and I first met a few months back and from the day I met them I was excited for their wedding. They had these great personalities that I clicked with, and you could just tell at a glance they love each other so much. Tami had all these great ideas for her wedding and really wanted to make it special and unique, afterall it's a once in a lifetime event! Moshe Zusman came along with me for the ride, and we were able to capture some great moments and do what we do best. We met up with the bride and groom at the W Hotel in DC, which always make for a great location. Tami was looking stunning in her gorgeous dress and Christian Louboutin shoes (with her "i Do's" on the sole). Once she and Omar were all dressed we brought them together for some fun shots, before having them go for a ride in the Lamborghini en route to the Corcoran Gallery of Art for the party! The Gallery was an amazing venue with it's vast two-floor atrium. Tami's very graceful sister-in-law gave a draw-dropping performance of a traditional dance for the guests, and the whole family danced the night away! Congratulations to Tami and Omar!

Northern Virginia Engagement Photographer - Tami + Omar

I had such a great time hanging out with Tami and Omar for their engagement session, and we had a bit of an adventure trying to avoid incoming trains, and trying to sneak some photos with someones scooter before they came back (better to ask forgiveness than permission with those things, right?) After taking some photos nearby their home, we headed into Old Town Alexandria for a change of scenery with the beautiful arcitecture and open parks. I can't wait for their wedding next month!

Washington DC Photography Workshops

As a preview of our upcoming workshops (more info on these later) Moshe Zusman, Paul Price, Zhia Victoria, and I had a short "Lighting a Venue" mini-seminar in Moshe's brand new (soon to have it's grand opening) studio space in DC. We had a great turnout of nearly 35 people, and there were some amazing free giveaways, including Pictobook Bijous, Nik software, Eye-fi cards, free print credit through Nations Photolab, and more! Stay tuned for details on the full multi-module seminar coming later this spring!
