Northern Virginia Wedding Photographer - Michael + Lisa

I was lucky enough to be one of FOUR people present for Mike and Lisa's wedding, (and that number includes them as well)! They got married in front of the historic Leesburg Courthouse on a beautiful Friday morning, with quite a few passerbys wishing them well. The two newlyweds, who have been together since highschool were grinning from ear to ear all morning as they said their 'I do's'. I really love small weddings, they're so much more personal and intimate. Big weddings are nice too, but some of my favorite wedding I've ever shot are of the smaller variety (under 80 people). Mike and Lisa also surprised me after they tied the knot by telling me they had a vintage car to take some of the photos with, which made for some of my favorite photos of the day.

Washington DC Wedding Photographer - Carolyn + Greg

What a great wedding! I first met these two about a year ago, and they couldn't stop smiling from ear to ear whenever they looked at each other. The day of the wedding, Greg wrote Carolyn a beautiful letter that their niece (the cutest flower girl ever!) was given the duty of delivering. Carolyn looked absolutely amazing in her dress, as did the rest of the girls, who were all showing their team some support (the Blue Devils).

Carolyn and Greg were married at the beautiful Our Lady of Mercy Parish in Potomac Maryland. The lighting was amazing, with a huge skylight letting soft light pour in over their ceremony. And what would a wedding be without a choreographed dance number? After the introductions at the reception, the whole bridal party broke it down to Barry White's "My Everything", and the dance floor was packed the rest of the night. Thanks to my great team Henessey Green and Scott Henderson!

Washington DC Wedding Photographer - Maite + Sam

Congratulations to Maite and Sam who got married this past weekend! It was a beautiful day with a really fun (and great looking) couple. After their ceremony at St Bernadette's Church in Springfield, we swung by the marina down in Old Town Alexandria, before the reception at the Alexandria Hilton. Thanks to Armin DeFiesta and Scott Henderson who helped capture the day.
