I just got my GroveMade iPhone 4 case in, and I absolutely LOVE IT! This company is relatively new, making cases out of real bamboo that are laser engraved with artwork you submit. I threw together my design together in Illustrator, dropped my company logo down on the bottom, and since I'm a huge LOST fan, I had to use the Dharma logo and numbers from the hatch, but it wouldn't be an iPhone without the Apple logo, now would it? To make it even more nerdy...I did the entire shot with no lighting other than my iMac and Apple accessories as bounce cards (iPad dock, Magic Trackpad, keyboard)!
Washington DC Engagement Photographer - Carolyn + Greg
This morning, Carolyn, Greg and I all got up at the litteral crack of dawn to do their engagement session in DC, lighting was just great, the sun was just starting to come up and give us a nice glow. Carolyn also brought her sister Hayley along, who I put to work with a remote flash (she did a great job, you'll see below!). It was great to do their photos so early, not only because of the great directional light, but also because it hadn't gotten too warm yet, and the hoards of DC tourists weren't stampeding yet! I can't wait for their wedding next month!
Washington DC Wedding Photographer - Maite + Sam
Congratulations to Maite and Sam who got married this past weekend! It was a beautiful day with a really fun (and great looking) couple. After their ceremony at St Bernadette's Church in Springfield, we swung by the marina down in Old Town Alexandria, before the reception at the Alexandria Hilton. Thanks to Armin DeFiesta and Scott Henderson who helped capture the day.
