Frederick MD Wedding Photographer - Jessica + Lydon

This was such a fantastic wedding this past weekend with Jessica and Lydon at the beautiful Morningside Inn in Frederick MD. I've known Lydon for about 2 years, and met Jess about 1.5 years ago, but not only have these two known each other for years, they've been dating since sophmore year in highschool, 9 years ago! Jess planned the entire wedding herself and it couldn't have been more perfect, fantastic venue, amazing family and friends, Jess looked stunning in her dress, everything about the wedding had the perfect touch on it. On top of all her great planning, we lucked out with great weather and a beautiful blue afternoon sky. She planned an early afternoon wedding and early reception, which allowed us to set aside tons of time after the guests had all said their goodbyes to take some amazing stress-free photos of just the two of them outside with the stark contrast of the rich green hills and the vibrant fall colors in the trees. This was of course after we had cleared all the Minnie and Donald Duck balloons their wedding party filled their car with! Thanks again to Moshe Zusman for shooting with me for this one! Jess and Lydon have finally tied the knot and are at this moment enjoying their honeymoon in Disney World! Can't wait to show them their full gallery! Congrats guys!

Austin TX Wedding Photographer - Kate + Steve

Moshe Zusman and I shot such unique wedding down in the beautiful Austin Texas. I've only been to Austin twice now (both for weddings, and surprisingly both were at the Barton Creek Resort). Kate and Steve's family threw an amazing pre-wedding party the night before where Steve got up on stage and jammed with the band for a bit before singing to his soon-to-be bride with his groomsmen as his vocal backup. The day of the wedding, we couldn't have asked for more beautiful weather as Moshe and I hit up a couple hot spots in Austin to get some great images of the bridal party before we all headed to One World Theater, which was probably the most stunning wedding venue I've ever had the privilege to shoot at. Everything about this wedding was so special and unique, from the great details of the wedding decorations to Kate's sparkling smile as she walked down the aisle to the Mardis Gras themed reception! It was a blast from start to finish!

Washington DC Wedding Photographer - Woodend Chevy Chase Maryland - Emily and Ben

My friend Moshe called me up last minute to help him cover Emily and Ben's wedding at the beautiful Woodend in Chevy Chase Maryland. We shot there earlier this year, but this time we lucked out with beautiful weather, clear blue skies and a nice cool breeze whispering through the trees. This had to have been one of the most fun couples I've photographed this year. Emily (who looked stunning in her dress) was letting tears of joy run down her face as friends and family performed readings during the ceremony, while Ben was grinning ear to ear the entire day. It's rare when a bride is willing to get her dress a little dirty on the day of the wedding (Trash-the-dress sessions are awesome by the way! Call me if you'd like to have one!), but Emily was actually willing to go running through the field with Ben for us, even though there were little thorns everywhere and a it had rained the night before. Enjoy this little taste of the day!
